The Tree is in Me
Part of the Be-coming Tree performance event, 9 Januari 2021, Söderåsens nationalpark, Scania, Sverige
Through a slow, repetative and meditative act of being in resonance with the tree, a mutual exchange of flow is being conducted. A presensing experience with empathic 'betweeness' where the perciever and the percieved are co-participating. An embodied experience of interconnectedness.
Perceptuell ömsesidighet - Att röra är också att själv bli berörd.
"Att röra vid trädets sträva yta är att samtidigt uppleva sin egen känselförmåga, att känna sig berörd av trädet. I mötet blir jag därmed en del av den förnimbara värld som jag utforskar. Världen varseblir sig själv genom mig i en slags perceptuell ömsesidighet".

'Be-coming Tree'
Gathers distanced artists and audiences around a live-streamed experience of planetary entanglement with nature.
The event encompassed 36 live performances happening simultaneously around the globe.
Via a trees-for-tickets system in collaboration withTreeSisters: women seeding change organization, this event raised a donation to plant rainforest trees.
The Zoom webinar has a live soundscape created from digitised tree data by Bert Barten of Talkingtrees.com in collaboration with many trees.
